This is writing at its best. Coming up with a short that is at the same time funny, moving, intelligent and oh-so-true, is no small feat. All hail to thee, Ashley Zacharias.

My wife and I fall into the same age as the characters in the story. Totally relate with it, now I wonder if I can convince my wife to give me an hour of her time to this story out? I twould be awsome! Thanks Ashley, very well written. (10/10)

Ashley, this was magnificent. There are some that would be disappointed but the story is balanced perfectly. I have enjoyed some of your darker offerings and would enjoy seeing more of that sort as well, but I enjoyed this gentle little scenario with equal relish.
Don't stop, I for one look forward to your next story. (10/10)
