An ancient tale of much extremes. This fictional work deals with the conviction and sentencing of the dux femina character, Camilla, and the cruel machinations of her persecutor. Those unfamiliar with Latin terms will easily follow as English translations are provided. Fans of antiquties will also relish authentic details. Hopefully, the L. terms will provide an air of atmosphere to the story. |

The historical setting could have been better described, and the latin text are just confusing at the beginning.
It would have been interesting to know what did he do during the night too. (6/10)
