Well written, though it sometimes seems like there's parts missing.
Story also seems to suffer from a reverted "Murphy's Law", as everything miraculously falls into place for the good doctor Astor.

I have always been disappointed that Parker would use one of the weakest crutches available to a writer, namely hypnosis,as a vehicle to make the story move along at a rapid pace. On the other hand, his use of alternate unhappy endings and masterful understatements of the violence and aberrant sex contained in this work, almost balance things. (9/10)

WOULD HAVE RATED A 10, BUT TO ME IT SEEMED THAT THE AUTHOR WAS TRYING TO RUSH THRU THE STORY JUST TO GET TO THE END...AS WELL AS PARKER WRITES, THERE SHOULD NEVER BE A RUSH.THE READER CAN HANG ON EVERY ONE OF HIS WORDS (9/10)
