its was good, but not lik "nothing", enjoyed it, maybe alittle more detail, it looked lik you had alot of cool nasty ideas, but you put them in one story, maybe put in parts lik nothing (7/10)

A very enjoyable story whose cardinal sin is that it gives the reader a glimpse of what happened but never takes the time to describe it in much detail. Actually, the level of writing is so good that the reader inevitably wants more even though a weaker story of the same length would have been more or-less appropriate given the storyline. I liked the way the author handles the characters that are obviously very stereotypical and yet don't feel flat or lifeless. The other major strength of this story is that it manages to make big time-jumps and not lose much of its momentum or grim, desperate tone. All that said, the story somewhat feels as a very elaborate pitch rather than a full-fledged tale. The author is obviously capable of describing the emotional as well as physical events that the protagonists go through, yet one can not shake the feeling that this was a very nice appetizer but that the main dish should definitely follow. Especially since the setting and the events are very extreme yet believable. If it counts at all, I'd encourage the author to take the time to develop the story into a novellette-length piece and give the events (s)he described a deserved level of depth and detail. It is obvious that (s)he can do it, so the only necessarry ingredient here is will-power. (8/10)

This is an extremely enjoyable and extreme piece that I wish were a hundred times longer. I'm praying for a sequel about the next generation of horrible, wonderful sons. I wanna live in a trailer now. Absolutely loved it. (9/10)

The story started out very good, but quickly lost its ability to keep me thinking it would continue that way. Much to be improved on. Even the author admits at the end that more effort into the story could have been given. (4/10)
