The writing is stilted and cliche' strewn to the point of being funny. I'm not sure whether this is a man trying to write like a woman or a girl trying to write like a woman. In either case, it was a failure. This tale is another perfect example of spell-check gone wrong. The word is spur, not spore! You spur, you don't spurt! The use of a foreign phrase that is not standard except perhaps to a college student just starting out is not acceptable. But that last paragraph was a real hoot. The guy is painting beneath you while you pull on his lid? I haven't read stuff like this since The Sinking of the Odradek Stadium. Better luck next time. (4/10)
