Heh, this was fun. Good, clean style, nice action, some nice moments of humour too. What bothered me was the exposition is too visible throughout the story. Like the moment the main character tells us he is a private eye even though this is completely unimportant for the story. Also the way he goes out of his way to ensure the reader understands he is justified for cheating his wife - looks more like the author maing sure his conscience is clear than a necessary part of the story. The end is especially exposition-heavy, I assume ensuring there is enough justification for a sequel. That aside, this is certainly an enjoyable story with nice, clean, rich language. (7/10)
