Leaving the reader to their imagination at the end is like a twist in the tale. Just as cruel as the torments heaped upon the poor women in the story. (9/10)

Another entry on the list of my all time favourite Cortez stories. Wow! I think I like his stories with paired female torturers tormenting paired female victims for the amusement of a watching male best of all. (10/10)

MyMy whatis a girl to do. never thought pain could last that long. I know that it was not just your imagination as to these instruments of torture. They do exist in many countries, I would like to read the next instalment to realy rate this chapter. Emmacd (8/10)

After reading the first third of this story I was disposed to give it a 10 -- as always with this fine author, the writing is exceptionally stylish. Cortez has a flair for descriptive language, that is, I think, quite unsurpassed in our genre. But the rest of the story had a certain sameness to it, which caused me to mark it down slightly. I think the story might have been improved by giving the the setting a bit more context (although many would probably say that I go to the other extreme), and the characters a bit more of a history and motivation. For example the two torturesses (torturatrixes?) seemed almost interchangeable to me. But I'm sure that many would find those 'faults' not to be faults at all -- Cortez gets straight to the, um, point, with his cleverly imagined tortures, not dwelling on the sort of exposition I like, but which many, in our busy world, may find a waste of time.
But I repeat, no one I've seen (in our genre)combines graceful language with erotic electricity any better than Cortez. (9/10)

Thanks to my failure, until recently, to grasp the essentials of the reply system and what I actually need to do to get logged on I have not had the courtesy to respond to earlier reviews.
This is my chance to thank you for your appreciative and considered comments. I do try and vary the settings and context of my stories but I do plead guilty to using a somewhat limited palette in terms of core plot lines. I suspect this comes from an initial fear that a longer more 'evolved' story would be too slow and therefore not be considered for posting by 'those that decide'. Some of my more recent pieces, yet to be posted are two or three times the length of postings so far.

Great read--while very well written, erotic, and just fun to read, I offer that it wasn't terribly original--women held captive and tortured--not cutting edge. (8/10)

Very skilled writing, one can really imagine the things described. A high level of cruelty is presented in a non-vulgar way. Too short! ;-) (9/10)
